Justin Mezzel

Justin Mezzel is an illustrator and designer based in Orlanda, FL. We love his vintage, grainy style.  All of his work has a beautiful graphic feel, that’s reminiscent of a good Pixar film.  All of his colors and textures make it feel like his work was printed on an old piece of paper that has yellowed and worn over 60 years.  Needless to say, we’re all about it.  We want you to be all about him too! Check out Justin Mezzel’s work at his website!

I’m curious where his particular variety of work would typically appear … guess I’m off the check out his website.

  3. Justin, what kind of inventory do you have of all of this stuff. I have made the either very great decision to suggest this to my girlfriend for decorating our new apartment in NYC (or very poor decision, depending on how much she decides to spend), and she had a question regarding whether/how many multiples might be available for a large collage-type display on a wall. Thanks, and great looking work!

  12. At first these just look like cut-and-dried pictures, but then other details start appearing, like the “staircase” coming out of that typewriter. Love it!

  13. I’m an illustrater who is trying to get a carieer
going – my flagship picture book for children
To The World Above, is set in the dark on the
ocean floor. I am hopeing to show people the
ocean at it’s deepest, and in a sense it’s most
beautiful. I enjoy working with light and
    shadow, and wild colors.
