Hello friends! Today we found the shop Lesa Likes. Lesa lives in Brisbane, Australia. Lesa makes these beautiful broches and pins using felt, lace and beautiful little wood frames. We absolutely love these. Our generation doesn’t really wear broches anymore, and we think it would be lovely to bring them back. What do you say? Okay, well at the very least check these out and fall in love.
You can visit Lesa’s Etsy shop here.

Happy Monday, all! Today is a double post! WOO. By which I mean, we’re featuring two people today in one post with only one video! It’s like a magic trick (only better). Today we’re featuring cinematographer/graphic designer/motion media artist Camille Marotte. Camille lives in Paris and he is a director as Tempesta Productions, and pretty nifty with this whole video thing. He made this video for artist Uddhava (aka Matthew Ouaki). We really love the simple, soft and beautiful music. The guitar, and whispery voice is so nice. Camille did a wonderful job capturing the emotion and beauty of the song.
So, take a listen and enjoy the music of Uddhava and the video skills of Camille Marotte.
You can check out Uddhava’s album here.
And, Camille Marotte’s website here and Vimeo here.

With Rebecca’s (Millie) 21st birthday recently passed, and Paige’s (Florence) 21st birthday rapidly approaching, we’re on the hunt for fun new things to try (and look forward to). We stumbled upon this blog called A Crimson Kiss, which is run by a lady named Lena who lives in San Francisco. A Crimson Kiss has all sorts of adorable wedding things, and a whole tab devoted to creative cocktails. We have enjoyed getting some wonderful ideas, and also the beautiful photography!
Check out her wonderful drink recipes here.

Karen Kurycki is a talented graphic designer, illustrator and watercolor artist based out of Jacksonville, FL. Her main talent is making beautiful pieces with water colors. Her secret talent is making beautiful pieces with water colors and hilarious puns. Well, I guess it’s not a secret anymore. Anyhow, we love the beauty and humor of Karen’s work. She’s got a sharp wit and a talent with a paint brush. Check out her work at her website, and enjoy the following sampling of her work.

This week we’re featuring an up and coming shop: Kimberlee Marie Designs. Kimberlee is an interior designer based out of Seattle, WA. She hands makes this really cute fabric letters. She’s available to do custom orders as well! We love her fabric choices.
Check out the shop here.

How cool are these alphabet videos by n9ve? They are so creative! The first is a spelling-video, where each character is the initial letter of a font name. The second is a developmental spelling – video where each character visually represents the meaning of the word itself. So fun!

How cool is this? Sarah King created these lovely illustrated fruit designs and we kind of love the whole idea. We’re totally into typography, especially when it gets super creative like this. Type and fruit together? Um yes. Sarah is not just limited to fruit. She is a graphic designer, illustrator, and animator and we think you should take a look at her website. Totally worth it.
